26th aug ! like omg, the day finally came.
have been planning for this since months ago x:
it’s like one of the rare occasions that we actually celebrate.
(we cant be bothered to celeb for monthsaries or anniversaries)

&this is the FIRST birthday we have celebrated tgt !

so i didnt tell nigel where we’re going at all ! cuz i desperately wanted to surprise him.
but yeah, some stuff got leaked out along the way.
because. because. because. i didnt know where to find the cable car.

went to harbourfront tower 2 to buy tix for the cable car.
$20/adult. we bought the glass one !
normal cable cars cost $14.90/adult.

this is something that goes all the way up so pple can see the whole of sentosa. or something like that.

so we went there via the sentosa bus

&bought the tix.
$22+/adult. includes admission into dolphin lagoon.
but dolphin lagoon closes at around 5pm. &we were there at 6pm !

i was amazed at these ladies’ huge pile of lobsters.

lobsters, scallops, tiger prawns, squids &some fried oyster thing.
comes with 3 typical but amazing dips : sambal, sweet chilli &tartar sauce.

i only ate 1/2 of the seafood platter &was so full !
nigel finished up his steak &the other half of the seafood platter too.
he said he’s damn heartpain at the money i spent over him. lol.
haha i swear food at the place is not very cheap.
like $120 for a seafood platter.

we finished up &i was so nervous abt the surprise.
thank god nigel wanted to go to the restroom.
so i used the opportunity to tell the waitress she could get ready the cake !!

okay. so we got a return cable car ride back to harbourfront. &the cable cars end at 11pm.
but we left the resort at around 10:40pm !
so rushing &climbing about 4 dead escalators, we found out, we missed our cable car.

they brought us to this super big nice beautiful OMG restaurant called soul-ed out !

it was a fucking nice place.
i ordered beef lasagne, nigel ordered lamb shank. which is like a damn big piece of lamb !
every one’s food was sooo delicious. yeah, it’s like as though no matter what you order, you’ll love it anyway.
i think it’s the best restaurant i ever visited.
nigel says he want to go back again.

then we went back to my other uncle’s home &watched casino royale for a while.

so much stuff has happened.

saturday, 1aug.
slept at 3am, trying to finish up my 2pg lab report +toad skin worksheet.
it was super poorly done. i cannot believe i didnt understand a single question.
my mind is too simple for university science.
i am so scared i wont make it through 1st year );

i always said i will study. &yes i did.
but how come the questions come out so foreign from what i studied so hard for ?
maybe i should start textbook-ing ;] ok, i will.

woke up at 9am on a saturday. ohmybob, too early for me x:

family went to west coast pier where we got on a small boat to bring us out to sea.
pastor came too preach. asked us to share 1 special thing we remembered about my late aunt.
then 1 more special thing we remembered about my late grandparents.
(all buried in the same place)
this time, they threw the entire urn+box into the water !
rather odd. since we used to scatter the ashes across the water instead.
but i heard, her ashes were all dust. unlike my granddad’s which had bones in it.

my (other) aunt said, my granddad is the closest evidence she has to the existance of heaven !!
when he was hospitalised, he used to sing hymns in his sleep.
he said he dreamt of heaven a few times &that we were all there singing with him.
