but for my very loved ones, it’s too important to me that they like what they get.
i dont want to surprise them with something they didnt prefer.
that’s why i kept asking nigel to choose this choose that, choose where to celebrate &stuff.
he keeps saying “anything”. so fine then, i got a surprise :]

so we were at the japanese pasta place @cine, (this is not his bday celeb la-_-)



mine: mushroom cream pasta, his: salmon basil pasta.

anw, its not that fantastic. couldnt finish mine. left a super strong mushroom aftertaste in my mouth. unappealing. i wouldnt go back there again.
i think i still love newyorknewyork’s carbonara the best.

very fast, went home.
he still gotta study.
i had tuition, but postponed -_-

so much stuff has happened.
&i just dont have pictures for my past few days because other pple were taking the pictures.

saturday, 1aug.
slept at 3am, trying to finish up my 2pg lab report +toad skin worksheet.
it was super poorly done. i cannot believe i didnt understand a single question.
my mind is too simple for university science.
i am so scared i wont make it through 1st year );

i always said i will study. &yes i did.
but how come the questions come out so foreign from what i studied so hard for ?
maybe i should start textbook-ing ;] ok, i will.

woke up at 9am on a saturday. ohmybob, too early for me x:

family went to west coast pier where we got on a small boat to bring us out to sea.
pastor came too preach. asked us to share 1 special thing we remembered about my late aunt.
then 1 more special thing we remembered about my late grandparents.
(all buried in the same place)
this time, they threw the entire urn+box into the water !
rather odd. since we used to scatter the ashes across the water instead.
but i heard, her ashes were all dust. unlike my granddad’s which had bones in it.

my (other) aunt said, my granddad is the closest evidence she has to the existance of heaven !!
when he was hospitalised, he used to sing hymns in his sleep.
he said he dreamt of heaven a few times &that we were all there singing with him.

we all cried. &threw flowers.

after that, we drove to jurong west to have a nice happy hearty family lunch.

went home, scribbled some finishing nonsense into my due assignment.
then went to sch to hand it in &next, to nigel’s house.
passed him the big bag of meet-up stuff.

he help me do mass meet-up for my spree. so nice right ;]

it was nigel’s grandma’s bday.
so we had dinner at a restaurant.
yummy salted egg crab !!! which no one seemed to like except me…
nigel’s grandma gave me a red packet :O shy la.

mango ice cream cake !
&yam dessert !

then drove to west mall(??) for movie !
nigel’s entire family ! 2 rows. lol.

watched MONEY NO ENOUGH 2
ohmybob ! IT’S A FREAKING GOOD SHOW !

its a super must watch. so far, the best movie ive watched this year.

sunday, 3aug.
woke up at 11plus. so early.
but cuz i wna meet mummy.

had bfast w nigel’s family (minus nigel, still sleeping)
then use mrt to meet mummy at payalebar.

ohmybob. city plaza is like their orchard road !!

$30 eyelash extension ? got so cheap meh.
h8 eyelash extension !! but mummy wants to do.

after a couple of hours, home !
&here i am.
blogging before i face my stupid gmail with never-ending shit to do.
like packing of 3boxes of shoes :O
